NEW Workflow v2 · the multi-agent verification layer is live

about gurugram, india · est. 2024

Work described once should run forever.

Every team we know runs on invisible busywork — research stitched into briefs, briefs into drafts, drafts into posts, posts into reports. The tools got smarter, but the stitching stayed manual. ChatGPT here, Midjourney there, Zapier duct-taping the gaps, a human in the middle copy-pasting between tabs.

Definable exists to delete the stitching. You describe an outcome in plain English; a team of specialised agents — researcher, writer, designer, engineer, distributor — plans the work, does it across 50+ models and 1,000+ apps, checks its own output, and runs again next week without being asked.

We started in 2024 in Gurugram, frustrated by the gap between what AI demos promised and what AI products delivered. The gap, it turned out, wasn’t intelligence. It was reliability — verification, retries, permissions, audit trails. The unglamorous parts. So that’s what we built.

2024

Founded in Gurugram. First prototype: one prompt, three agents, a research brief that wrote itself.

2025

Workflow engine ships with verification + retry. Assistant, Knowledge Base, and 1,000+ integrations follow.

2026

Creative Studio and Def Code launch. SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001 audits complete. Regions: India, US, EU.

what we believe

Four opinions we’re willing to lose customers over.

01

Ship the loop, not the demo

A workflow that works once is a demo. A workflow that verifies itself, retries, and runs every Tuesday at 9am is a product. We only count the second kind.

02

Plain English is the interface

Every canvas, node, and webhook we make you configure is a failure of ours. Describe the outcome; the system should do the wiring.

03

Trust is earned in the audit trail

Agents that act on your behalf must show their work. Every step logged, every permission explicit, every output traceable to the instruction that caused it.

04

Small team, sharp tools

We use Definable to build Definable. If a task feels like busywork twice, it becomes a workflow before it happens a third time.

the team

Deliberately small. Aggressively augmented.

Definable is built by a compact team in Gurugram working alongside the agents we ship — founded by Anandesh Sharma, who still reads every message sent to [email protected]. We hire rarely, for people who would rather automate a job than supervise it.

[email protected]

no openings posted? write anyway — the best ones never are

Engineering

Distributed systems and orchestration — the runtime that lets five agents share one job without stepping on each other.

Research

Model routing, verification, and self-healing. Fifty models, one question: which one for this step, and how do we know it worked?

Design

Making multi-agent systems legible. The audit trail, the approval gate, the plan view — comprehension as a feature.

Customer & Ops

Every support thread read by someone who can fix the cause, not just the symptom. Often the founder. Usually the same day.
